FOCUS Mission
Fundamental Development Starts with Focus
Rooted in fundamentals and positive coaching techniques, Focus Baseball is a family-friendly select baseball club that emphasizes player-first development. We provide a fun, down-to-earth select baseball program where players and families can enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played.
We believe in coaching the person, then the player. Coaches are transformational not transactional.
FOCUS Offerings
Camps: Fun-first, positive environment focused on mental game approach as well as physical strength.
Lessons: One-on-one and small group lessons are available. First one-on-one is always free.
Teams: Learning how to function and play with a team attitude. Learning life skills for the game and beyond.
OUR Teams
At Focus Baseball, we want to help our players learn how to function and play with a Team First Attitude. This prepares them for the next level of baseball and life.
Our teams travel regionally to some of the best tournaments in the area and also play local league schedules.
Focus Baseball has teams from 7U through 17U. Our coaches are skilled professionals that will help develop your player into the best player and person they can be. Tryouts are held annually in July.

TIM | Baseball Operations

Tim Hollenback has been involved with coaching for many years. He is a head baseball coach and has also been an assistant coach. As a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) he is committed to coaching. Tim has been involved with several organizations including CMH Jr. Crusaders and the New Berlin Magic. Tim’s coaching also extends to football. He has been a head coach for flag football teams with the Muskego Athletic Association. He also has held the role of flag football director for the school district of West Allis-West Milwaukee.
MIKE | Facility & Project Manager
Mike Palmer is a transformational coach. Mike has coached with the CMH Jr. Crusaders program and others. As a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association Mike is dedicated to coaching. He has a true love of baseball. His style of coaching empowers players to achieve their goals while making a true connection in young lives that lasts past the baseball season.
DOUG | Baseball Operations

Doug Johnsen has been coaching various high school and youth sports for more than 25 years. At the high school level, Doug has coached baseball, cross country, football and track. At the youth level, he has coached baseball, basketball and football. Doug has coached baseball from U8 to the varsity level during his coaching career. Doug enjoys teaching the game and works to create a positive environment for the players to learn and improve
Joy | Chief Administrative Officer
Joy is the support system of Focus Baseball. Her skills in accounting, marketing and social media help the organization flow. Joy has been involved with baseball for many years and that experience and love of the game help families have a positive experience at Focus Baseball.

Training Facility
Welcome to the Shark Tank! Our exclusive indoor training facility is the foundation for our players improvement. You invest in us so we invest in our players by providing the best equipment from HitTrax, Hack Attack and Atech pitching machines or pocket radar technology and more.
We host team-specific, fall and winter training session and position-specific training year-round. The facility offers a classroom for lessons and video review.
